【Abstract】 Power and peace have been a basic concept of international politic theory. It is believed in Realism that power means peace or power is the guarantee needed for peace. 9.11 incident greatly shook the world with its suddenness and truculency. To fight against terrorism has become the leading idea of countries over the world. Is there any actual magnificence when you say power means peace or you talk about peace under the rule of U.S.A. under such circumstances?
