溴化酚醛树脂在硫化过程中的分散状态变化及其对性能的影响

【摘要】 以三元乙丙橡胶(EPDM)为基体,研究了溴化酚醛树脂在硫化过程中的形态变化以及热处理工艺对酚醛树脂在混炼胶中的分散状态、体系硫化特性和硫化胶物理机械性能的影响。结果表明:随着硫化反应的进行,溴化酚醛树脂颗粒粒径逐渐减小或消失,但在硫化胶中可能存在未反应颗粒,其在高温下显示增塑效果。热处理工艺可以改善酚醛树脂的分散状态,提高硫化交联的均匀性。热处理后的硫化胶定伸应力提高,伸长率下降,而拉伸强度和撕裂强度没有明显改变。

【Abstract】 The changes of status of brominated phenolic resin in EPDM during vulcanization and the effect of the heating process on the dispersion of the resin in the compounding,the vulcanization characteristics and the physic-mechanical properties of the compounding were studied.The results showed that the resin particles getting smaller with increasing of the vulcanization time.Unreacted resin particles remained in the composite,which might result in the decrease of the highest torque in the cure curve.The dispersion of the resin in EPDM could be improved by using heating process.Samples undergone heating process showed a longer cure time,an higher modulus and a smaller elongation while no significant change on tensile strength and tear strength.
