【Abstract】 A number of experimental results showed that soybean isoflavones(SI) has safeguarding effects on bone. The manifest of these effects dues to its estrogen-like and anti-estrogen bioactivities. Recent advances of effects of SI on bone were reviewed. The emphasis was placed on its metabolism.
