【Abstract】 As one of the most important parts in the ancient Greek tragedy,the chorus has stronger narrative function and lyrical function.It helps the drama to complement partial narrative,which makes the plot to achieve unity.Simultaneously as “the implied author,” it directly expresses author’s moral outlook and the value orientation;The chorus helps the audience lead off their emotions of “sympathy” and “fear,” and utilizes the power of reason to bring together those excessive emotions.As a classical work,Medea also adds a narrative function of psychological description,which causes the vivid characterization.更多还原
