A weighting function iteration algorithm used in beam pattern synthesis for wideband array based on adaptive iteration theory was presented.Beam pattern function is in the form of objective function.Newton iteration method is also used so that the weighting function is iterated adaptively,and the amplitude approaches to the reference beam pattern.The simulation results show that this algorithm can achieve the target including constant main lobe and lower side lobe well.
