高强铝合金-PTFE纺织复合材料的摩擦磨损性能
Friction and Wear Properties of a High Strength Al Alloy-PTFE Fabric Composite
【摘要】 将PTFE纺织复合材料粘结到高强铝合金背衬上,制备成铝合金-PTFE纺织复合材料。选择航空工业常用的3层复合材料(DU)作对比实验。摩擦磨损实验在摆动实验机上完成,实验条件为:载荷为10~80MPa,摆动频率8次/min,摆角为±30°,相对湿度(70±5)%。实验结果证实铝合金-PTFE纺织复合材料的摩擦因数大约0.055,摆动磨损寿命大约2.5万次,均优于DU材料。可见,这种高比强的新型复合材料适用于航空航天工业。
【Abstract】 An Al alloy-PTFE fabric composite was prepared,which is composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fabric as the matrix,and adhesive resin as the binder,and is cohered onto a high strength Al alloy support.Another kind of steel-bronze-PTFE composite (DU) was selected as a comparative investigation.Friction and wear tests were carried out in an oscillating tribo-tester.Experimental conditions were normal pressure from 10 to 90 MPa,an oscillating frequentcy of 8 times per minute,oscillating angles of ±30° and relative humidity of (70±5)%.The result shows that the Al alloy-PTFE fabric composite exhibits a lower coefficient of friction and longer oscillating wear life of 25 000 times than DU.So it is feasible that the newly high specific strength composite is applied in aerospace.
