【Abstract】 Along with the rapid advance in air membrane separation technologies, the membrane-based oxygen-enrichment technology shows great attraction. After the principle and operation modes of membrane-based oxygen-enrichment were briefly described, the research progress on the application of membrane-based oxygen-enrichment technology to spark-ignition engine and compression-ignition engine has been reviewed, and the system performance, operation modes, effects and existing problems were analyzed.
