【Abstract】 Starting from the construction of a platform for science and technology innovation, and setting the establishment of Dryland Farming and Water Saving Agricultural Experiment Station of Hebei Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences as an example, the necessities, characters and functions of constructing modern agricultural experiment station was analyzed in the paper.
