微波加热化学活化法制备高比表面活性炭

【摘要】 以中间相炭微球为原料,KOH为活化剂,采用微波加热化学活化法在不同条件下制备出高比表面积活性炭,考察了活化前后中间相炭微球的结构变化与不同活化条件对炭微球性能的影响.研究表明:活化后中间相炭微球的石墨微晶结构被破坏,所制得的活性炭是无定形组织.活性炭比表面积和孔容随着KOH/MCMB的增大先增大后减小.KOH/MCMB较小时,比表面积和孔容随活化时间的延长达到最大值后不再发生变化,在KOH/MCMB较大时,比表面积和孔容随活化时间的延长先增大后减小.

【Abstract】 High surface area activated carbons were prepared by microwave heating induce chemical activation from mesocarbon microbeads (MCMB), and using KOH as activating agent. The microstructure of MCMB, before and after activated, was investigated, and the effects of different activation conditions on the properties of activated carbons were also studied.The results showed that the microstructure of MCMB was destroyed, and the activated carbon was amorphous. The surface area and pore volume increased with the KOH/MCMB ratio to a maximum and then began to decrease with further increase of the ratio; At a low ratio, with the activation time increased the surface area and pore volume initially increased reaching maximum then hardly changed.At high ratio, with the activation time increased the surface area and pore volume increased reaching maximum then decreased.
