【摘要】 如何提高中国企业的自主创新能力已经成为中国管理学界关注的焦点问题之一。本文采用权变观点来分析企业技术探索广度、知识库特征与创新绩效之间的关系。本文认为,企业技术探索的强度会直接影响创新绩效,同时,技术探索对创新绩效的作用受到现有知识库(深度、广度和潜在开发机会)的调节。本文对141家美国大型电子医疗设备企业的技术创新行为和绩效进行了实证分析,其结论对中国企业的自主创新提供了有益的借鉴。更多还原

【Abstract】 How to improve Chinese firms’ original innovative com-petence has become an important research focus for Chinese man-agement researchers. While current literature has conducted deep research from different perspectives, two shortcomings still exist: (1) few studies examined the interaction between static knowledge base and dynamic exploration; and (2) empirical research on knowl-edge base and exploration is lacking. This study takes a contingent perspective to examine the relationships among a firm’s technologi-cal exploration, the characteristics of its knowledge base, and its innovative performance. We argue that while a firm’s exploration patterns directly influence innovative output, their effectiveness is moderated by the internal context of knowledge. The findings of this research provide helpful insights for Chinese firms.更多还原
