【Abstract】 Liang Shuming is evaluated as one of the representatives of neo-confucians in modern China,who made remarkable contributions in the culturology particularly the field of comparative culturology between the west and China.Max Weber regarded as the greatest sociologist in the whole 20th century,devoted himself into the cultures and the civilizations in the world in a perspective of sociology. Neither of them majored in the culturology, they haphazardly coincided in their narrations in culturology to some degree.This article mainly cites Liang Shuming’s “Eastern and Western Cultures and their Philosophies”and Weber’s “The Economic Ethics of the World Religions”, and analyses their culturology.更多还原
