【Abstract】 A novel activated sludge-biofilm integrative reactor(ASBIR) was developed to treat the wastewater from medium and small towns.The reactor integrates the reaction zone and the sedimentation zone together into one unit,and makess full use of the advantages of both activated sludge and biofilm process.The reactor was characterized by the stability in the treatment effect,less use of land,less investment for construction and simple operation requirement.The experimental results showed that the activated sludge-biofilm integrative reactor has high efficiencies of COD and TP removal and can remove ammonia-N and TN at the same time.更多还原
