一种廉价的高效、可靠的灾难备份方法

【摘要】 通过本地监控模块监控数据变化,并将其传输到海量高速缓存中暂存。通过网络传输及优化模块将缓存的数据高效地传输到远程,由远程重放模块完成写操作重放。本地一致性检测模块和远程一致性检测模块协同工作完成数据一致性的保证,该方法对主机及网络的要求相对较低。在Linux上实现了该方法的演示系统,通过测试工具验证了该设计具有良好的工作性能。

【Abstract】 This paper presented a reliable disaster-tolerant method with low-cost but high-efficiency.It consisted of several components including local monitor module,transmission module,high-speed cache,optimization module,consistency chec- king module and remote replay module.The local monitor module was in charge of monitoring the data changes happened on local host and saving them into high-speed buffer disks.The transmission module and the optimization module were responsible for sending the data on cache to remote host efficiently.The replay module submited the write operations on remote host and the consistency checking modules that were located separately on local host and remote host cooperate to ensure consistency. This method has low requirement for both host and network,and a demo system,based on this method,it has been realized on Linux.Numerical results using popular benchmark program has show that this demo system has high performance.
