【Abstract】 Constructing distributed GIS application with a new type of graphic-object-oriented,matrix-based interactive data language-IDL and spatial data engine-SDE,the developer not only benefited from the strongpoint of IDL on manipulating spatial data and 3D display,but also benefited from the good performance and security of management spatial data.In addition,the developers didn’t need to buy a costly professional GIS development license.This application scheme strikes a proper balance between the performance and developing cost.It’s a cost-effective and feasible way to develop GIS application.更多还原
