基于最小二乘估计的虚拟阵元波束形成仿真
Simulation of Virtual Array Beamforming Algorithm Based on Least Squares Estimator
【摘要】 在混响干扰为主的浅海探测背景下,通常希望能得到主瓣宽度比较窄的波束。常规的波束形成方法中,对于一定频率的基阵,一般只有通过增加孔径长度来提高基阵分辨率。而这种方法又往往会受到实际工程的限制。因此提出了一种基于最小二乘估计理论的虚拟阵元波束形成算法。该方法针对有限尺度基阵,根据实际已知阵元的接收数据,运用最小二乘估计方法,估计虚拟阵元上的接收数据,使实际基阵的孔径在虚拟的意义上得到了扩大,从而实现了高指向性窄波束,提高了基阵的指向性指数。仿真实验结果也表明了该方法的有效性。
【Abstract】 Usually people want to obtain narrow beam,when detecting in shallow water under the background of reverberation.The aperture of array should be increased to get high resolution of conventional beamforming algorithm at a certain frequency. But this is often not allowed in practical applications.A virtual array beamforming algorithm based on least squares estimator is presented in this paper.The new algorithm mostly aims at the limited aperture of array.The output data of virtual sensors are estimated from the output of physical array using least squares estimator.The aperture of total array is broadened in the virtual sense, and high directivity narrow beam is realized for a small size physical array.The effectiveness of this new algorithm is verified via computer simulation.
