With the spreading of Buddhism in China,Grotto comes into China and was gradually combined with the Chinese indigenous culture,the process of which has been recorded in the evolution of Grotto Art in China.The research on Grotto has been of great value to the research on historical culture exchange between Western and eastern, China and India,and that on the Ancient Architecture in China.
