精英文化领导下的普世文化——英国牛津运动的文化理念探析
Popular Culture under the Leadership of the Elitist Culture——A Tentative Analysis on the Cultural Ideas of the British Oxford Movement
【摘要】 英国牛津运动是一场英国国教复活运动,给英国社会文化生活带来了很大影响。从社会文化的角度探析其文化理念,认为牛津运动既是一种精英文化,又是一种普世文化,实质上是精英文化领导下的普世文化。
【Abstract】 British Oxford Movement was a religious movement for the restoration of Church of England.It left great impact on British socioculture.Its cultural ideas are both elitist and popular.The present paper intends to analyze its cultural ideas-a kind of popular culture under the leadership of an elitist culture.
