IDE硬盘的高带宽数据传输的实现
Implementation of wide band-width data transportation in IDE hard disk
【摘要】 介绍了一种在有限硬件资源情况下,针对IDE接口硬盘实现的海量视频数据高带宽存取的方法。针对流媒体数据量大和实时性要求高的特点,将流媒体数据分割成包含一定连续扇区的数据块存放在硬盘上,以该数据块为单位读取硬盘数据,使平均流量达到了100Mbps。给出了数据块包含的扇区数的计算方法。
【Abstract】 The method of wide band-width transportation for large volume video data is introduced on IDE-based hard disk.The speed of transportation on hard disk is determined by the average access time and the transfer rate.To save the average access time,the steam data is divided into large blocks and stored on con-tinuous sectors,when reading out,a minimum amount of sectors is necessary to be accessed in one time to achieve 100Mbps band-width.This paper presents the compute method of the sectors.
