【Abstract】 The study of Wildes comedies in west can be divided into three periods. In the first period (from 1892 to 1899) , critiques about Wilde’s comedies began to appear in English gazettes, reflecting opinions of the age. In the second period (from 1900 to 1969) , the text was the focus of attention, and comparative studies increased. In the third period (since 1970) , people began to emphasize the broad perspective in their study and began to apply new methods of literary criticism, featuring the modern trend of the study of Wilde’s comedies.更多还原
