【Abstract】 Dispositional optimism and pessimism, defined as generalized positive and negative outcome expectancies respectively, are the most frequently used construct in the research of optimism. This paper reviewed the research on dispositional optimism from the aspects of its concept, psychological structure, measurement at home and abroad. In the end, some future research directions were put forward, such as the definitions of dispositional optimism in the Eastern culture need to be explored.更多还原
