SEBS/PMMA共混物膜的表面和本体形态结构
Surface and Bulk Morphologies of SEBS/PMMA Blend Films
【摘要】 用扫描电镜(SEM)和原子力显微镜(AFM)研究了两种不同共混比的聚(苯乙烯-嵌-乙烯/丁烯-嵌-苯乙烯)(SEBS)和聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯(PMMA)共混膜的表面形态和相分离行为。结果表明,当膜厚为25μm时,两种共混膜表面均未见明显的相分离形貌,而在膜体相中可见宏观相分离结构。当膜厚为120 nm时,质量比为30/70的共混膜表面可见明显的“海-岛”状宏观相分离;而质量比为60/40的共混膜表面未见明显宏观相分离,仅有少量PMMA小颗粒嵌于SEBS基体中,形成SEBS趋于包裹PMMA微区的稳定“笼型”结构,其尺度属于介观相分离。退火后,两样品膜的体相形态与表面形貌趋于一致,均呈现宏观的相分离结构。
【Abstract】 The morphologies and compatibility of poly(styrene-block-ethylene/butylene-block-styrene)(SEBS) /poly(methyl methacrylate)(PMMA) blend films with two different blend compositions were investigated.Different blend morphologies related to the SEBS content and film thickness were observed both by scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and atomic force microscopy(AFM).Combining SEM and AFM images,we can survey the film structure.Although the surface was not in an apparent phase-separated state,well-defined macroscopic phase-separated structure was formed in the bulk when the film thickness is about 25 μm.An evident island-sea macro-phase separation between SEBS and PMMA blend was observed in the blend film with 30/70 content and of 120 nm thick.In the case of the blend thin film with 60/40,no notable phase-separation was(observed),but small PMMA particles embedded in SEBS matrix,which defined as meso-phase separation.Both 30/70 and 60/40 films exhibited macro-phase separation morphologies after annealing at temperature higher than 120(°C) for about 24 h.
