【Abstract】 Pipeline acidwashing is an important and difficult procedure in pipeline assembling. I make a comprehensive discussion over online pipeline acidwashing from the following aspects: acidwashing principles, fabrication of pipeline acidwashing system, chemicals used in acidwashing, acidwashing procedure, techniques and safety measures. Firstly, I analyze the components of dirt and oxides on the inwall of the pipe. In order to deal with these harmful impurities, we should adopt four steps: defatting, acidwashing, passivating and sweeping. And then, I make a discussion over chemicals use and dosage in every step. And in detail, I discuss the calculation method of acidwashing system volume, how to fabricate a pipeline acidwashing system, acidwashing techniques process, the dosage and order of chemicals added in, operation time and technique details in every step.
