【Abstract】 Controlling and checking the reinforced concrete member on the crack width is very important with the using of the high strength bar. The figure show the largest diameter of steel bars without checking crack width of reinforced concrete members in Appendix 7 of "Concrete Structure Design Code" (GBJ10-89), but the different expression to calculate the largest crack width is given in the new code (GB50010-2002). The designers always use this figure, so the figures of varying conditions is given in the paper, then least squares fit is used to merge the figures.
