直接甲醇燃料电池膜电极的活化工艺
Activation technology of membrane electrode assembly for direct methanol fuel cell
【摘要】 通过稳态电流-电压极化曲线法,研究了活化介质、活化时间和活化放电电流等活化工艺对直接甲醇燃料电池(DMFC)膜电极电化学性能的影响。研究结果表明,上述三个活化工艺对电池性能存在着明显的影响:在实验条件下,活化介质甲醇溶液优于去离子水;小电流活化优于大电流活化;活化的最佳时间为9h。在上述活化工艺条件和35℃的低温运行状态下,当DMFC膜电极的输出电压为0.247V时,其输出电流密度和峰值比功率分别可以达到160mA/cm2、39.5mW/cm2。
【Abstract】 Electrochemical performance of direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) in various activation technologies such as medium of activation,time of activation and discharge current of activation were investigated by steady-state galvanostatic polarization. The experimental result shows that three activation technologies have effected the performance of direct methanol fuel cell significantly.In this experiment,methanol solution is a better medium of activation than distilled water,low current activation is better than high current activation ,the optimum time of activation is nine hours.When the working temperature is 35 ℃ and the output voltage is 0.247 V the output current density , power density are 160 mA/cm2 and 39.5 mW/cm2 ,respectively .
