固体超强酸S2O82-/Fe2O3-TiO2-Nd2O3催化合成乙酸薄荷酯的研究

【摘要】 采用固体超强酸S2O82-/Fe2O3-TiO2-Nd2O3为催化剂,薄荷醇和乙酸为原料合成乙酸薄荷酯。考察了酸醇摩尔比、催化剂用量、反应时间、催化剂的重复使用次数对酯化率的影响。结果表明:采用此催化剂催化合成乙酸薄荷酯是可行的,其最佳反应条件为:醇酸摩尔比1∶1.8、催化剂用量0.6 g(占薄荷醇质量的3.85%)、反应时间6 h、反应温度为130℃左右,酯的产率在97%以上。该催化剂对设备没有腐蚀性、与产品分离简单、可回收重复使用;由此催化剂催化合成的乙酸薄荷酯色泽好、气味纯正。

【Abstract】 Menthyl acetate has been synthesized from acetic acid and menthol by using solid superacid S2O2-8/Fe2O3-TiO2-Nd2O3 as catalyst.Some factors influencing the yield of esterification were investigated,including catalyst weight,molar ratio of menthol to acetic acid,reaction time and the times of using repeatedly catalyst.The optimum conditions as follows: molar ratio of menthol to acetic acid was 1:1.8,catalyst’s weight was 0.6g(3.85wt %of menthol),reaction time was 6h and reaction temperature was about 130℃,under which the yield of esterification was over 97 %.This kind of catalyst that can be recovered and reused has got no corrosiveness to the equipment and is easy to be separated from the product.Moreover,the product’s color and lustre is good as well as the flavor of it is pure,therefore the solid superacid S2O2-8/Fe2O3-TiO2-Nd2O3 is an effective catalyst for esterification of acetic acid with menthol.
