【Abstract】 From the perspective of national cultural semantics, this paper makes a comparative study of the national cultural meanings of the three basic color terms"red","black"and"white"in English and Chinese.And by examining some practical examples involving color terms in intercultural communication,it argues that our way to understand and use basic color terms may affect intercultural communication,having a direct bearing on its effect or result.更多还原
