【Abstract】 Euphemism is both a cultural and lingual phenomenon.Euphemism for death is a problem facing every society.Analysis on euphemisms can reflect cultures in different societies.There are many differences between Chinese and Western religions,values and social customs,which are reflected by Chinese and Western euphemisms for death.This paper analyzes the causes for the cultural differences so as to promote cross-cultural communication.更多还原
