【Abstract】 This paper gives a brief introduction on the characteristics and status of high velocity compaction .High velocity compaction(HVC) is a new manufacturing technique for producing high density P/M parts efficiently at low cost.Much attentions have been paid to it due to its high property/cost.The high compacting speed enables P/M parts to have higher properties and the possibility to make large P/M parts at relative low cost.A high potential in the broad application of HVC is expected.更多还原
