相移光纤光栅的有效反射率法研究
Effective-Index Method for Studying Phase-Shifted Fiber Grating
【摘要】 采用有效反射率法分析了相移光纤光栅的传输特性.将相移光纤光栅等效成含缺陷的布拉格反射镜,然后用利用效反射率法分析其反射特性.数值计算结果表明:该方法简单且与耦合模理论吻合较好,相移光纤光栅中的相移相当于布拉格反射镜中的缺陷,通过改变缺陷在布拉格反射镜中的光学厚度、位置及引入缺陷的数量可实现相移光纤光栅中的相移的大小、位置及数量的变化.
【Abstract】 The propagation characteristics of Phase-shifted fiber grating(PSFB) is analyzed with effective-refractive index method. PSFB is equivalent to Bragg Reflector with defect, Reflection properties of PSFB is studied by using effective-refractive index method. The numerical calculation results show that the method is not only simple but also accords with couple mode theory well, the phase shift of PSFB is equivalent to the defect in Bragg Reflector, and the change of the value of phase shift, position and phase shifts can be realized by changing the defect of the optical thickness, position and quantity in Bragg Reflector.
