分散聚合法制备单分散交联PMMA微球

【摘要】 用分散聚合的方法在甲醇中制备了含交联剂二甲基丙烯酸乙二醇酯(EGDM)的PMMA微球,讨论了聚合过程中的引发剂、稳定剂、溶剂体系和EGDM的浓度等因素对微球的粒径及粒径分布的影响.结果表明:交联剂质量分数增加会使微球的粒径变小,多分散指数先变小然后增大;引发剂的质量分数的增加会使微球的粒径增大,但粒径分布变宽;增加稳定剂的质量分数会使微球粒径和粒径分布均变窄;溶剂体系对微球的影响相对复杂,并不呈现一定规律性.

【Abstract】 Monodisperse poly(methyl methacrylate) particles with crosslinking density were prepared by dispersion polymerization of methyl methacrylate in methanol. The effect of the concentrations of initiator, stabilizer and crosslinker and the ratio of different solvents in the medium on the particle size and size distribution were investigated. The results showed that particle size and size distribution increased with the increase of the mass fraction of the initiator; and particle size decreased as the mass fraction of the crosslinker and stabiliter increased. The size distribution index increased with the increase of the mass fraction of initiator, and with the decrease of the mass fraction of crosslinker and stabiliter. The effect of different solvents were complex and any conclusion could not be drawn.
