集成光学多通道交叉波导单元的设计分析
Design and Analysis of Crossing Waveguides Units With Several Channels in Integrated Optics
【摘要】 采用基于帕德算子的宽角多步有限差分光束传播算法模拟双通道交叉波导单元光场传输特性,讨论了交叉角度对交叉单元分支波导输出光功率和波导间串扰的影响。结果表明,交叉角很小时,直波导的功率输出变化不稳定,相邻波导间串扰大。交叉角大于5°时,直波导的归一化输出光功率超过0.9,且随着交叉角增大而逐渐增大至趋于稳定,相邻波导间的串扰非常小。随后,以三通道和五通道交叉波导为例分析了多通道交叉波导单元。
【Abstract】 The Pade operators are applied to wide-angle multi-step finite difference beam propagation method.The optical field distribution of double-channel unit has been calculated by the method and the influence of intersecting angles on the output optical power and crosstalk has been discussed.When the intersecting angle is small,the variety of the output optical power is not stable,while the angle is larger than 5 degree and the power is above 0.9 and will increase with the angle,the crosstalk is very faint.Furthermore,taking the units with three and five channels for examples,the crossing waveguides units with several channels are discussed.
