纯铈对共晶和过共晶Al-Si合金微观组织的影响

【摘要】 分别研究了纯铈对共晶和过共晶Al-Si合金微观组织的影响。结果表明:共晶Al-Si合金经1wt%Ce变质处理后,共晶硅由长针状变为珊瑚状,变质处理的时间同样也会影响变质效果,实验发现变质处理60min时,效果最佳,变质处理时间继续增加时,共晶硅的尺寸几乎不再变化,而初生α-Al变得发达;过共晶Al-17wt%Si合金经0.15wt%Ce变质处理60min后,初晶硅的尺寸由20μm减小到10μm,同时变得更加圆滑。

【Abstract】 Effect of pure rare earth metal Cerium on microstructure of eutectic and hypereutectic Al-Si alloy has been studied respectively. The results show that addition of 1wt% Ce to eutectic Al-Si alloy changes the morphologies of eutectic Si from acicular to coral shape. The duration of modification also influences modification effect; 60 min modification obtains the best effect and with further increased modification time, size of eutectic Si hardly alters, however, primary α-Al grows markedly. In hypereutectic Al-Si alloy, with addition of 0.15wt% Ce, the average grain size of primary Si decreases from 20 μm to 10 μm, and the primary Si changes from very coarse morphology with sharp edge to more round and smooth shape.
