【Abstract】 The eight-trigram theory and that of five-element have fused together for thousands of years, for the reason of which there is not a reasonable or commonly accepted conclusion in the academic circle yet. According to their characteristics and historical materials related, the correlation between Images (of the trigrams) and the four directions & seasons could be the basis for a logical interpretation of the fusion.
