【Abstract】 As a safety god originated from city walls and moat, Town God , was worshiped as a god in the Zhou dynasty. Since then, Town God, a god protecting an area, has been a part of Taoist gods. The substance of Town God was different in different areas, but it has important influence on local folk custom and cultural development.更多还原
