【Abstract】 Human Genome Project advanced the research on comparative genomics. Dog, which characters with a panoply of morphological and behavioral genetic differences and susceptibility of some diseases, have been regarded as a excellent animal model of comparative genomics. This papers reviewed that the development of gene map, dog genome sequencing, comparative map and the application of dog genome research.
