【Abstract】 Migration may reduce rural poverty; nevertheless, under certain circumstances, it may aggravate rural poverty. When the average remittance of a migrant is greater than the marginal product per labor in rural sectors, migration enhances rural people’s well being. Otherwise it leads to worse off. Rural migration currently reduces poverty on the whole, but in some rural areas migration begins to worsen rural life.更多还原
