【Abstract】 In July of 1940, Lu Fengzi accepted the position of president of Chongqing National Art Institute. Being a magnanimous person, he gave his undivided attention to the needs of students. He improved the teaching facilities, invited well-known professionals to the institute, emphasized scientific studies, and founded the Chinese painting department. Under his leadership, Chongqing National Art Institute became a center for free academic thoughts where controversial ideas were tolerated and understood. Lu Fengzi Scholarship was created to encourage studies in the arts. In 1942, Lu resigned from the position of president due to various conflicts.更多还原
