【Abstract】 AHPLC methodwasestablished for thedetermination oflovastatinandlovastatinacid inthefermentation broth. A C8 column was used with the mobile phase of 10mmol/L phosphoric acid-acetonitrile (40∶60), at the detection wavelength of 238nm.Thecalibration curves oflovastatin and lovastatin acid were linear in the ranges of 0.012 - 0.096mg/ml and 0.01 -0.08mg/ml,respectively.
