实时数据传输的自适应前向纠错方法研究
Study on an AFEC Method of a Real-Time Data Transport
【摘要】 针对实时数据传榆对服务质量(QoS)的特殊需要,提出一种基于实时传输协议(RTP)的能修复单包丢失的具有自适应特性的前向差错校正法(AFEC).该方法通过动态调整差错编码参数(差错编码分组长度),跟踪网络拥塞变化,保证传输服务质量.分析推导和实验表明:所用AFEC能够较好地适应网络拥塞变化情况,对丢包具有较强的修复能力,比一般的实时传输前向修复丢包方法具有更高的编码效率和更小的额外带宽需求.
【Abstract】 Aiming at the special requirements of real-time data transport for quality of service (QoS), an adaptive forward error correction (AFEC) method based on real-time transport protocol (RTP), which was capable of recovering the lost single-packet, was proposed. Through adjusting the error coding parameter(packet length of error coding)dynamically and tracing network congestion, the method above could guarantee the transport QoS. The analysis and experiments indicate that the AFEC method can adapt to the change of network congestion preferably, recover the lost packet effectively with higher code rate and less requirement of extra bandwidth
