The structural properties of intermetallic compound LaNi_(5) and its deuteride LaNi_(5)D_(0.3) were studied by means of neutron powder diffraction.The data analysis of(LaNi_(5)D_(0.3)) deuteride was performed taking into account the anisotropic diffraction line broadening due to microstrain introduced during the hydrogenation-dehydrogenation(cycles).Therefore,the fit to experimental data is achieved.LaNi_(5)D_(0.3) is crystallized in the space group P6/mmm as well as LaNi_(5) and the 12n site is occupied by...
