【Abstract】 Electric current modification treating method,a new physical fields process modifying the solidification structure of metals,was introduced.Effects of direct current(DC) and pulse current acting on liquid metal on the solidified structure of pure aluminium were studied.According to experimental results,the macrostructure of aluminium ingot was modified from large grains with columnar crystals to finer grains with equiaxed crystals using the method.The solidification structures could be refined variously under different DC parameters.更多还原
