【摘要】 洛杉矶是汽车城市的代表,许多研究引用洛杉矶为案例分析汽车城市交通问题的一般性,本文则从洛杉矶的特殊性进行分析,进而从洛杉矶城市的自然条件和人文环境以及城市发展历程等角度,分析洛杉矶低密度开发和机动化的相关关系.本文认为,洛杉矶的低密度城市形态主要是由于其特殊的自然条件和人口构成,而不是单纯的小汽车因素,而其快速机动化与快速城市化的历史“共振”加剧了低密度开发,是洛杉矶成为典型汽车城市和蔓延城市的重要原因.文章还分析了这种发展路径背后的交通政治及其趋势.最后通过中美城市化和机动化的对比,指出了洛杉矶城市交通发展对我国城市规划和城市建设的借鉴意义.更多还原

【Abstract】 This paper analyzes the specialty of LA.And then it analyzes LA’s low density development and motorization from the aspects of its natural conditions,human environment and the course of development.This paper reveals that the low density of LA is not only affected by cars as simply taken for granted,but also decided by its geological and demographic features which also contributed to car dependence.Moreover,the syntony of fast motorization and urbanization in the history greatly promoted the low-density development.And the changes and trends of LA’s politics of urban transportation are further compared and discussed.At last,through the comparison of urbanization and motorization between China and the US we make a heuristic discuss on China’s motorization based on the LA’s experiences.更多还原
