【Abstract】 Wheels play a key role for the safety of railway transportation,as important parts of the railway vehicles. Therefore,it is crucial to detect the abrasion of wheels accurately. This article describes the current technologies used to detect the wheels of railway vehicles, in terms of static and dynamic detection.
