【摘要】 详细分析了AMI Pegasus的电路结构和数据流的处理过程。以通讯系统中广泛使用的MC68EZ328为例,讨论了AMI Pegasus与CPU接口电路的设计方法,详细分析了其中的注意事项。在分析液晶显示屏接口时序模型的基础上,对软件编程中的两个难点进行了详细的研究。AMI Pegasus具有集成度高、接口丰富、支持硬件旋转等特点,并且成本低廉,是解决各种设备对彩色化需求的理想方案,具有良好的应用前景。

【Abstract】 AMI Pegasus is a kind of color LCD controller developed by Asian Microelectronics Co.Ltd.,completely,which is best suited for middle or small LCD on the hand equipment,apparatus and instruments etc.LCD controller belongs to a complicated one among the various peripheral interface chips of MCU,which results from two reasons.One is that it has many control registers;the other is that its circuit is too complex to understand its dealing course for data.This paper analyzes circuit structure and dealing course of data stream for AMI Pegasus in detail.Taking MC68EZ328 for example,used in communication system widely,the design methods and attention items of interface circuit for AMI Pegasus and MC68EZ328 are discussed.Based on the analyses for interface timing model of LCD,the two difficult points in software programming are studied.AMI Pegasus is the ideal resolution to the requirements for colorful device and has favorable application prospective because of its high integration,abundant interface,supporting hardware rotation and lower costs.
