【Abstract】 Odysseys,originated from ancient Greek legend and endowed with image model by Homer’s Epic,is the typical representative of the early tramps.And the creation of Odysseys is also a literary attempt at the thought that vagrancy can be taken as a means of survival.As a literary model,the later vagrancy literature has been thriving under its catalysis.So The Odyssey naturally has contributed to tracing back to the origin of vagrancy motive.Based on various aspects of the shape of the original model of vagrancy motive,this paper aims at interpreting the image of the characters as well as the fundamental theme in a profound way so as to fully present the textual value and historical significance of the works.更多还原
