兴奋和损毁外侧缰核对大鼠睡眠觉醒周期的影响
Effects of microinjection of L-glutamate into lateral habenula and lateral lesion of habenula on sleep-wake cycle
【摘要】 目的观察兴奋和损毁大鼠外侧缰核(LHb)对睡眠的影响。方法采用脑立体定位、核团微量注射和核团损毁、多导睡眠描记技术等方法。结果用L-谷氨酸(L-Glu)兴奋LHb时,觉醒减少,快眼动(REM)睡眠增加;而电损毁LHb时,觉醒增加,REM睡眠减少。结论LHb参与觉醒睡眠周期的调节,其神经元兴奋具有促进REM睡眠作用。
【Abstract】 Objective To assess the effects of microinjecting L-glutamate into lateral habenula and lateral lesion of habenula on sleep-wake cycle of rats. Methods Methods used in this study included stereotaxic, microjection, lesion of nucleus and polysomnography. Results Microinjection of L-glutamate into lateral habenula decreased wake time; while increased REM sleep time. Lateral electrolytic lesion of habenula induced the contrary effects. Conclusion LHb plays an important role in the regulation of sleep-wake cycle and excitation of its neurons can improve REM sleep.
