【摘要】 介绍了一种改进LZW数据压缩算法.针对LZW算法的不足,首先将字典的存储方法进行了改进,然后将经典数据存储方法改为动态存储,从而避免了空间浪费.论文最后采用4个BMP文件对LZW*和商品软件winRAR进行了对比分析,实验表明这一改进算法的效率具有较大的提高.更多还原

【Abstract】 A data compression algorithm named LZW* based on LZW is presented in this paper. The improvements can be generalized two aspects. The fist is about the dictionary storage, which is three tuple, and the second improvement is dynamically storing the data, while the classical LZW algorithm is statically, which will need more space.
