【摘要】 提出一种适合于H.264标准的基于梯度且支持RDO的帧间块模式抉择算法.该算法根据梯度分布剔除某些可能性很小的模式,以减少RDO过程中的待选模式数量,达到快速选择模式的目的.实验表明该算法比在全部模式中执行RDO过程要节约80%左右的时间,而PSNR下降不超过2dB.更多还原

【Abstract】 The paper proposed an inter block mode selection method based on gradient and rate-distortion for H.264. Because the gradient is a good measure of local details and changes, the new method excluded some rarely-possible modes according to the distribution of gradient, which helped to reduce evidently the number of modes and time of the RDO procedure. The experiments showed that the method could save time by 80% and the Y-PSNR drop was less than 2dB, compared with the full-mode RDO method.更多还原
