磁盘阵列控制器的设计与原型实现
Design and Prototype Implementation of a RAID Controller
【摘要】 大规模存储服务的需求在快速增长.冗余磁盘阵列(RAID)是今天企业级存储系统的标准解决方案.介绍了一个基于Intel80321平台的RAID控制器的设计.在目标板上运行了嵌入式Linux系统,并实现了基于x86平台的原型系统,以光纤通道接口连接主机.性能测试显示RAID-5的读、写数据传输率分别达到185MB/s和141MB/s.
【Abstract】 Demand for large-scale storage services is growing rapidly. RAID is today’s standard solution for enterprise class storage systems. The designing of a RAID controller based on Intel IQ80321 platform is introduced. We setup embedded Linux on the board, and implemented a prototype system on x86 platform with Fibre Channel interface to host. The benchmark test present throughputs of 185MB/s and 141MB/s for RAID 5 read and write respectively.
