【Abstract】 The numerous traditional ethnic villages and buildings, with their diversified features and rich historical cultures, have reflected both the physical and spiritual civilization of local society at the grass-root level. These villages are not only the active components of social structure, but also a linking media among the natural environment and humane environment. How to maintain and develop the cultural characteristic of the native architecture in traditional and ecological villages? How to inherit their excellent cultural distillate? How to realize the sustainable development of the ecological environment and the cultural environment in traditional villages while the quality of the habitation of the local villagers is continuously improving?
